Data and sources
We process account identity, name, email and profile photo received from your chosen sign-in provider; profile information you provide; event attendance, connections, encounters and coffee invitations; support messages; and technical security records. Data is collected electronically from you, your sign-in provider and your use of the service.
Purposes and legal grounds
We use data to manage accounts, deliver event and connection features, answer support requests, protect the service and meet legal duties. Applicable grounds include performance of a contract, legal obligation and legitimate interests under Article 5(2) of the KVKK. We seek separate, freely given consent where it is required.
Sharing and transfers
Public profile information and attendance are shown according to your visibility choices; private encounter notes remain visible only to you. Supabase provides authentication and storage, Vercel hosts the web app, and your chosen sign-in provider processes sign-in data. Cross-border processing may occur subject to applicable legal safeguards.
Retention and security
We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete, destroy or anonymize it. Access controls and encrypted connections help protect the data.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK, including access, correction, deletion and objection, by writing to bikahveplatform@gmail.com. Identity verification may be needed. We respond within the statutory period.
